It’s the rainy season once again and for most of us living in Metro Manila, this mostly means bed weather mode is back along with occasionally getting sick due to catching a cold from the sudden shift in weather.
The rainy season also means difficulty getting around the Metro due to annoying floods here and in surrounding areas.
But if there’s one thing that has become synonymous with this yearly occurrence then it’s probably the millions of students (and sometimes parents) calling out for the cancellation of classes.
On Thursday, Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte posted a statement after she got bashed for apparently failing to announce an early suspension of classes in the city.
So far, Severe Tropical Storm Gorio, which has been hammering the country with heavy rains is seen to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday so this means Luzon and Visayas will be having a rainy weekend ahead.
