We know we're not the only ones engrossed in this month's Cover Girl, Valeen Montenegro, and her ____ abs.
In case you're really here to read (and not just ogle *wink*), the blank space in the first sentence isn't a typo. We've finally just ran out of words to describe Val's not-really-ripped-but-solid midsection (See?). Really, all we could do now is stare and revel in awe.
But then we had an epiphany, the kind you get when you're drooling all over yourself: Surely, the Lokomoko alum didn't have that indescribable solar plexus when she was born—she isn't from Sparta, you know. What a dumb thought, we know, but it gets better...
So we stalked followed her on Instagram (@valeentawak) to find out how she toned the hell out of her abdomen. It was tiring work but, for the sake of the FHM Instasexy followers, we soldiered on. Below are the fruits of the many man hours we inexcusably devoted to fully explain how Valeen got that wonderful stomach.
If any of you ever grow tired of your dad bod and want to start anew, we suggest you devote yourself to our cover girl's tried-and-tested training regimen!
1) DON'T JUST WORK OUT; TAKE VIDEOS FOR SHARING
Share your workout, especially if it's working!
2) TAKE GYM SELFIES
One word: #fitspiration
3) RUN, BOY, RUN
...and try to look this good after!
4) THE DANCEFLOOR IS YOUR FRIEND
You want to get fit but you're not too fond of exercising or running? Bust a move!
5) WORK OUT WITH A PARTNER
...preferably someone who has the same mindset and goals as you do.
6) DO NOT STICK/SETTLE WITH YOUR USUAL PROGRAM
There are other ways to sweat it out!
Like running...but with more color!
Try lifting other objects, too!
Home improvement, apparently, is also one good way to stretch!
7) DOCUMENT YOUR PROGRESS
For, you know, future reference...
