This Must Be The World's Most Beautiful Mayor

Women have their Justin Trudeau, we have our Virginia Raggi, mayor of Rome

Rome has a new mayor. Her name is Virginia Raggi, a 37-year-old politician said to be from the "anti-establishment 5 Stars Movement, which was founded in 2009 by the comedian, Beppe Grillo" according to Euronews.com. Like Cory Aquino becoming our president, her landslide victory was a historic one for Rome as she becomes the Italian capital's first female mayor.

We researched about Grillo, intrigued at the fact that a comedian founded a political movement strong enough to propel a candidate into the mayoralty. Okay, we didn't do that. Instead, we looked for Raggi's Instagram page. You see, aside from her political chops, Sindaca (Mayor) Raggi is quite beautiful. Remember when your female friends were fawning over Canada's Justin Trudeau? We kind of did that when the news of Raggi's victory (and the photo accompanying the article) was relayed to us.

She's definitely a far cry from the typical pot-bellied, droopy-faced trapo depicted in pop culture:

Onorata di servire la mia città, ora si comincia.
