2010 Nihonggo Fiesta
Earlier in the week, we told you about seven awesomely curious things about Japan. Now you put all of those trivia you just learned to good use as the 2010 Nihonggo commences at the SM Mall of Asia on Saturday, February 27.
Presented to you by the Japan Foundation, Manila in cooperation with SM Supermalls, the event starts off with the 37th Nihongo Speech Contest at the Mall of Asia’s Cinema 2, to be followed by the 2nd Nihongo Quiz Bee for High School Students at 3:30pm.
But we're really excited for these two things: The Japanese and Filipino Street Fashion Exhibit and Contest curated by Team Manila, and the Shonen Knife concert at 7:30 PM. Shonen Knife has been at it for three decades now, and they still know how to throw a show. They will be joined by our very own Pedicab as well as Duster, making the concert even more of a must watch.
All events are also open to the public for free! For more info, please visit www.jfmo.org.ph
