China Crisis Live in Manila
New wave duo, China Crisis, the minds behind 80s hit "WIshful Thinking," "Black Many Ray," "Africa and White" will be in Manila.

Presented by Channel V, and Jam 88.3, the pair will be at the Eastwood Mall Open Park on January 21, at 7 pm and at The Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill on January 22, 8 p.m.

Gig Galore
On January 21, Friday, head on over to Penguin Cafe in Makati to check out Cosmic Love and Pinoy Stories.

Over at Route 196 in Katipunan. it's another Terno Night as Up Dharma Down, and other Terno bands give you a reason to rock.

At Saguijo, it's a Kerplunk! Productions featuring your favorite Kerplunk! bands!

B-Side in Makati will be up all night as well as Soul Fillet IV happens featuring Featuring live performances by RBTO, People's future, Jonan Aguilar, Missionaryo, Live Fillet (Rich, Similar Objects a.k.a. Jorge, B-Surg), and Diego.

On the next night, January 22, Saturday, Penguin Cafe plays host toKalayo and Makiling. Obsidian Bar and Grill in Ortigas will meanwhile be loud and rowdy as Moonfire Music presents Viva Hotcakes featuring the best female-fronted bands in the underground including Faintlight, Nyctinasty, Midsummer, Talata, Indaybote, and The Pull-It Surprise. Tickets are P80 each (inclusive of a free beer), 9 p.m.

Over at Route 196, it's going to be an Attraction Reaction night while at Saguijo, Revolver bands will be playing. At 70s Bistro, it's Peryodiko with The Naked Lights and Maya's Anklet. Gig starts at 930pm.

Last but not the least, B-Side will be having its 4th Manila Soul All-Nighter, featuring DJs Shane Cosgrove (United Kingdom), Chie Castaneda and Mike Cons, and bands Steady Movin' Beat and Juan Pablo Dream.Admission is free.

Red Horse Pambansang Muziklaban
The biggest, meanest, and loudest battle of the bands in the country prepares to launch an aural assault again as the Red Horse Pambansang Muziklaban: Francis M Tribute happens on January 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, Pasay City.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. for the tattoo sessions, extreme sports, and 2011 rock challenge auditions. The main show and rock challenge finals will start at 6 p.m.

The event will feature Manny Pacquiao, Pepe Smith, Arnel Pineda, the Juan dele Cruz band, Slapshock, Greyhoundz, Wilabaliw, Kjwan, Tanya Markova, Even, Mayonnaise, Ibarra, Gayuma, Hatankaru, and more.Entrance is free.
