Dung...still pissed after all these years at B-Side
It seems that every week B-Side has something up their sleeve that surprises most of us. This week, they’re bringing Carburetor Dung from Indonesia to give us a sampling of indie music from our Asian neighbor.

Joining the Indonesian outfit are Filipino bands Elemento, Twin Lobster, Encounters With A Yeti, The Sleepyheads, CoffeeBreak Island, Pin Stripped Rebels, and Go Signals. The gig happens on July 23.
 B-Side is located  at The Collective, 7274 Malugay St., San Antonio Village, Makati City.

Up Dharma Down at Al’s Bar
On July 24, Armi Mallari and the rest of the boys from Up Dharma Down will be performing at Al’s Bar. Joining them are other quality indie bands, Tether, Lochness, Helen, Benedicto, Dolzura, and Kerida. P150 is entrance fee which includes a free drink.

Wine-all-you-can at Muruve by Pino
From July 1 to July 31, Muruve by Pino offers you an unlimited supply of select red and white wine from their own collection for only P500 per person.

Only the most delicious of wines will be on the menu, that’s for sure. To enhance your wine experience, you can also add P95 to add tapitas, with your choice of tinapa lumpia, croquettas, or jalapeno cheesesticks.

Cajun and Creole at Seven Corners: Exciting Flavors from the Gumbo State
Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila’s Seven Corners Restaurant will be featuring the “rustic and robust flavors of Cajun cooking and the classical European style of Creole cuisine” at the buffet table for the whole month of July.

The said dishes will be available for both lunch and dinner for P1,200++ for lunch and P1,400++ for dinner. Curious yet about what “rustic and robust flavors” taste like? Visit Seven Corners Restaurant now or at least before July ends.

Party flavors
On Friday night, we’ll start the party at Encore at The Fort for Mixology Whiteout. The party will be featuring DJs from Marked Productions DJ Cherry Bombs and DJ Candice Ang, with DJ Big Boy Cheng of Fresh Manila and MC Warren on the mic. Wear your best white outfit, or if you don’t have a white outfit, well, good luck sticking out like a sore thumb!

Or you could simply just head out north, and into Bliss Ultra Club at Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City. Super Swagger Friday happens here and will be featuring hiphop, mashup, and bounce music by DJ Richard, DJ Lime, and DJ Chinaman. It is hosted by Swagger Entertainment in cooperation with Explicit Production.

For the young and the young at heart, there’s Students Night at the Manor Penthouse in Eastwood. The party which happens on Friday too, will be featuring music by Jino Ontog Patrick Po, Katsy Lee, and Mark Nicosia.

The next night, Saturday, is just as packed, starting with Saturday Night Live: Freaks and Geeks at Club Bureau. You can either come as a freak like Lady Gaga or a geek with bowties and the Kanye nerd glasses. Providing the soundtrack for the night are DJ Chris Myk and Violator All-Star DJ Euric.
