It’s going to be a bit on the rainy side this weekend, we reckon, but since when did a little water stop you from going out? Here’s our hit list of cool stuff and cool places to visit this weekend.
[firstpara]
Sideways Fridays at Club Circa
The best view in town will be at Club Circa this Friday where a ledge dancing contest culminates at Sideways Fridays.

Who doesn’t want to see women dancing their butts off in a place that’s not as seedy as your favorite beerhouse?

The night’s music will be provided by Dj Kimosave, DJ Ace Ramos and hosted by MC Dash, MC Nathan J., and MC Phat Jhorji. To top it all off, you’ll get to see the winner of the contest win a brand new iPad! Hooray for them!

Toast of the Town: Champagne Night at Nu.Vo
If you’re not up for some heavy partying, then you’ll probably like the chill ambience offered at Toast of the Town: Champagne Night at Nu.Vo. You’ve been drinking beer your whole life, so why not try out a little champagne.

Be at The Mezzanine Nuvo at Greenbelt 2 on Friday to enjoy great spirits and soothing music.

Merci Restaurant and Bar Grand Opening
Or maybe you want to be at one of the newest bars in Timog. Merci Restaurant and Bar will be having its grand opening on Friday, 7PM.

The event is perfect for those looking for great music as it will be featuring Coffee Break Island, Bloom Brothers, Juan Pablo Dream, and Sinosikat? among others.

Coheed and Cambria Live in Manila

Sheila and the Insects Live in Manila

One of the best bands from Cebu, Sheila and the Insects will be performing here in Manila on Saturday, July 31 at indie music hub, Saguijo.

They don’t come here that often so for fans of the band, it’s a must-watch. If you’ve not heard of them yet, well, you’re missing out; their music is infectious and catchy, so do try to watch them while they’re here. The gig will also feature The Camerawalls, Kate Torralba, and Paranoid City.
P200 entrance fee inclusive of free drink.
