This weekend’s biggest party comes courtesy of Bigfish as the country’s premiere party organizer presents "Hedkandi World Series" on March 5, Saturday featuring Dj Andy Norman & Bigfish Resident Dj John Paul together with Surprise LIVE Performers! The event happens at the A. Venue Hall in Makati.
So who is DJ Andy Norman? DJ Andy, a HedKandi vet, is originally part of the founding line-up of one the UK's biggest dance compilation record labels, and is currently one of the main resident DJs of "Team Kandi" Andy continues to grace some of the world's greatest nightclubs in Australia, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, Russia & North America. Tonight, Juan Pablo Dream and Maria Cafra play at Penguin Bar in Makati. Over Handlebar Bar and Grill, also in Makati, Tempestuous Jones whips up a storm. AMP Recital: A NIGHT of LEGENDS
On March 4 and March 5, 7:30 PM, you can catch the AMP Recital: A NIGHT of LEGENDS at the Ateneo Rizal Mini Theater, Katipunan, Quezon City. The best musicians from Ateneo will be playing music from different generations and genres, from pop to opm to grunge and rock and roll.

Brasilipinas 2011: Rio De Manila
One of the most rocking happenings this weekend just might be Brasilipinas 2011: Rio De Manila happening on March 4, 8:30 p.m. at the Rockwell Tent, Makati City. Featuring Brigada, Nyko Maca, Esoola De Samba, Ebo Philippines, Planet Zips, and surprise performances, there definitely won’t be any shortage of sonic goodness in the event. There will also be a fashion show by Sofa Batucada Parade, authentic Brazilian food by Chef Carla Abaya, Super Bock beers, Collezione-C2 Brasilipinas limited edition shirts, and free drinks from the Havaianas beach bar.

Carnaval Do Brasil
And Brasilipinas festivities continue at at Carnal Do Brasil on March 4, 8 p.m. at S Lounge, G/F Atrium Bldg., Makati Ave., Makati City.
From 8 to 11 p.m. you can eat to your heart’s content on a Brazilian buffet dinner while listening to salsa music by DJ Sonny Tugade. After, enjoy Caipirinhas with music by Aquarela. Guests with the best Brazilian-themed outfits will get free gift certificares from S Lounge.

OPERATION Wake Camp: "You Ride, We Guide"
A three-day wakeboarding camp will be held from March 5 to 7 at CWC, Camarines Sur, Philippines. It’s open for everyone, from beginners to those who want more advanced training. The event will give those interested a chance to ride, learn, share, and hang out with other wakeboarders.
The camp will have beginner, intermediate and advanced instruction levels, depending on your wakeboarding or wakeskating ability. Registration fee is Php 5,000 and is inclusive of the following:
• 2 dinners
• 3 days and 2 nights stay in a Villa del Rey cabana or single container (twin sharing).
