It’s the last weekend of November, and before you know it’s going to be Christmas time.

So let’s usher in the month of December with a bang and get our party on in this upcoming long weekend!

Gig Galore
Let’s start our musical escapade at Penguin Café in Makati. Catch Doki and Reggae Mistress bring the groove and the rhythm on November 26, Friday.

The smooth music carries over to the next night, November 27, as Nyko Maca, Nimbus 9, and Snafu takes to the stage.

Saguijo offers an equally enticing lineup this weekend too with Sonic Boom bands rocking the place on November 26. On the next night, Guijo plays host to Folk U Like It’s Hot featuringFando & Lis, Jesse Grinter (Gaijin), Luke Chow (HK), and Tao Aves, starting at 9 p.m.

Dubplate Manila happens over at B-Side in Makati on November 26, 9 PM featuring Doshy Attend Dubplate Manila at B-Side featuring Doshy, Red-I, Don P., Mulan, and Soulflower. The intoxicating sounds will be accompanied with live visuals by Vitamin See.

Obsidian Bar in Ortigas presents an action-packed weekend too starting with an Xtian Production featuring indie-pop darlings Tanya Markova, Letter Day Story, Soapdish, and Eeveee on November 26. Monty plays on the next night, and on Sunday, it’s an Audio Lokah production featuring some great underground bands. 

For people around Quezon City, you can check out 70s Bistro where The Jerks will be playing on November 26, and Kalayo and Peryodiko playing on the 27th.

Last but not the least, Route 196 in Katipunan paints the town red on November 26 as it hosts Paint A Vulgar Picture (Picture) featuring Dead Pop Stars with Tanya Markova. Blaster Studios will be showcasing Stonefree, Chubibo, Dr. Mindbender, Penguin627, and Manskee on the next night, November 27.

Excommunication Party at Adarna Food and Culture
Their poster says it all: “If supporting the RH Bill means excommunication, excommunicate me!” If your stance on the RH Bill is in tune with the event’s slogan, then join the Excommunication Party on November 26, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Adarna Food and Culture, 119 Kalayaan Ave., Quezon City.
The event invites  individuals and organizations that support the Reproductive Health Bill for an evening of dinner and entertainment.
