Don't want the world to know what kind of porn you've been watching?

Uhhhhh well, apparently it's too late. A software engineer called Brett Thomas has issued a stark warning stating that, at any time, your internet search history could become publicly accessible information.

That includes a list of every single porn video you've watched online, alongside your real name and email address.

It doesn't even matter if you're viewing some of the internet's weirdest in a private browser or through incognito mode, because every time you visit a site, the site picks up your user information. Useful for the company—and for the hackers who want to expose it.

How could such a huge data leak ever happen, one might wonder?

"All that's needed are two nominal data breaches and an enterprising teenager that wants to create havoc," says Thomas.

Your best bet to remaining safe, it turns out, is to never use the internet. Alternatively, only watch stuff you're happy for the world to know about.
