“Ang talent fee raw, P2,500. Eh nag-start ako sa P250 lang! Ang saya ko! May dialogue ako for the first time,” Lovely Abella recalls. Pero P2,500!” she says complete with accompanying actions.
This was one of the few stories we heard from Lovely about her early showbiz career during our very interesting interview with her after our cover shoot. We’ve all gone through hardships in our life, but only a few people can share these experiences in a way that’ll make your sides split. Lovely Abella’s life is a Magpakailanman episode waiting to happen yet it could turn into a slapstick comedy movie if she was tasked to narrate it. Lovely is a natural-born comedian and she’s also very sexy. Those two things got her to where she is now and we couldn’t be happier for her.
“Mahirap ang buhay namin [back then in Koronadal].
Honestly, when you first meet Lovely, you would probably never guess that she was actually a celebrity. Because apart from her naturally good looks, she definitely doesn’t give out a celebrity vibe. Despite Lovely deliberately exposing herself to celebrity culture at a very young age, it doesn’t seem like she’s changed at all.
“One time kumain ako sa lugawan. It’s so easy to root for Lovely because she feels like the typical Pinoy protagonist in a rag to riches story who you’ve watched and cheered for in movies, except that this time, she’s real.
Lovely doesn’t really have the filter most celebrities put on for interviews. Everything she says feels so truthful and raw at times that we don’t even think she could hide her personality even if she wanted to. Lalabas at lalabas si Lovely. It’s her brand and it is what makes her stand out among all the other celebrities out there. Lovely Abella is finally where she was meant to be.
This April issue is pretty packed, guys. Apart from showing the boldest Lovely Abella you’ve ever seen, we also have an exclusive interview from a member of the Alter community on Twitter, people who practice modern-day exhibitionism and voyeurism. We also risked exposing ourselves and the integrity of our browsing histories to access the Dark Web in order to show you what we’ve found.
