The rain was pouring nonstop days before the much-anticipated Sinulog weekend, but that didn’t stop locals and tourists from going to the Queen City of the South. Everywhere you looked, with their umbrellas and raincoats on, people were all smiles, chanting “Pit Senyor!” as they greeted their neighbors and the strangers who walked by. Colorful banderitas, cheerful “Hellos!”, and melodic whistles could also be seen and heard. Kids from 4 to 12 years old, millenials glued to their smartphones, and grandmas and grandpas dancing to the beat of unending music were also everywhere. It was festive, it was fun. The pouring rain and angry winds were nothing compared to the passionate people proclaiming their adoration for the holy Santo Niño.

Speaking of gearing up, of course, picture taking was a must during the event. That’s why OPPO Philippines, along with their media friends, put up a challenge, to take as many excellent pictures (and selfies) as we could using the 13MP rear camera and 6MP front camera of the OPPO F1s Selfie Phone. With an intermittent Internet connection, power banks, and the selfie phone in our hands, we took on the challenge. So sit back, relax, and let us take you on a tour of what happened during the four-day Cebu fiesta via these wonderful photos taken with the OPPO F1s.

First stop was some of the city's most popular tourist spots: Magellan's Cross, Basilica del Santo Niño, and The Temple Of Leah (As in Leah Villa Albino-Adarna, the grandmother of FHM cover girl Ellen Adarna).

Parade-day Sunday, the sun decided to show up. The gloomy and foggy city suddenly transformed into a colorful one. Look:
