The Igorot native was first featured on GMA's news and lifestyle magazine program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, where he shared how his life was before he became an internet sensation.
Carrot Man did not only capture the attention of Pinay netizens. He was also featured on KBS1, a broadcasting network in Korea. The panelists, like our female netizens, gushed over his looks. They likened his features to Korean stars like Lee Min Ho.
Then, just weeks after, he was invited for a live interview in morning talk show Unang Hirit. There he mentioned his admiration for Willie Revillame.
As expected, the variety show host and comedian invited him to his own show, Wowowin. Jeyrick became emotional when he talked to his "idol." He said he wanted to study, overcome poverty, and have a simple life. Willie vowed to support his educational needs.
On March 12, Carrot Man tried acting for the first time through GMA variety show Sunday Pinasaya. He appeared on the show's Madramarama Presents: Adarna segment with actress Ai-Ai delas Alas.
After his successful stint, he made a few more guestings on the said show.
Exactly a week after, March 19, the 21-year-old vegetable farmer also appeared on late night comedy show Bubble Gang. He came to help Chariz Solomon find her missing rabbit by using carrots. He got a chance to act with Michael V, Andrea Torres, Gwen Zamora, and many others.
His latest TV appearance was in Vic Sotto's sitcom, Vampire Ang Daddy Ko, where he played the role of—guess what—a vegetable vendor.
After appearing on television for interviews and acting, Jeyrick has broken into modeling. Clothing and footwear brand Boardwalk Philippines announced on Wednesday his signing as its new product endorser. They shared a photo of Carrot Man on Instagram donning a hooded jacket (with carrot prints on its sleeves) and khaki pants.
Aside from Boardwalk's announcement, a photo of Jeyrick has been posted on Twitter by Boardwalk designer Avel Bacudio himself, welcoming the social media sensation to their brand.
With the project, Carrot Man joins the ranks of Matteo Guidicelli, Derek Ramsey, Coco Martin, and Alden Richards as endorsers of the clothing company.
