When someone mentions sneaker performance review, our brains instantly tell us that we should expect to see adrenalin-pumping, gym-tempting things like these:
Shoe review series like Kick Genius has been spoiling us with their dynamic shoe workouts, in which they test how the newest kicks respond to basketball drills. Their first-hand assessment helps consumers ballers everywhere decide if a shoe is just another instrument of #swag or if it can actually improve (or at least compliment) one's game.
And then there's YouTube sneaker reviewer Brad Hall, who offers a pretty different aprroach to his shoe critiquing.
Unlike other popular footwear reviews, Brad is famous for his deadpan but funny take on sneakers. Generally, he likes to talk about...what we don't usually talk about when it comes to kicks. For example, he once taste-tested the legendary Air Jordan XI "Royal Blue."
His verdict: "It tasted...not great." Very informative, we know.
Brad's newest victim is the Nike Kobe X Elite.
Uploaded on his YouTube channel last Tuesday (June 16), Brad's latest review sees him sailing in uncharted waters. This time around, he decided to examine the Black Mamba's latest kicks via an on-court performance test...against a mannequin.
Wow, look at that (basic) lateral footwork. Bend your knees more, Brad!
