Whip out your cassettes for another walk down memory lane. We’ve already revisited our foreign emo icons and our local rakistas. Now, it’s time for the ladies to steal the spotlight and induce some nostalgia into your boring day.
So, where are your favorite ‘90s female music greats these days? Are they still rockin’ and rollin’?
Barbie is still active in the scene as a solo artist. She recently had a sold-out concert alongside other ‘90s favorites Kitchie Nadal and Aia de Leon. She recently released a new track called “Secrets” last January.
Kitchie is best known for her hits “Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin,” “Same Ground,” and “Bulong.” After being part of Mojofly, the singer pursued a solo career and still continues to do so today. She is currently expecting her first child with husband Carlos Lopez.
