Various posing trends have flooded Instagram this 2018: there’s the instabooty, the hip cleavage, and the butt over back poses. Apparently, these different trends were started by models and A-list celebrities from the international scene, and are then made more popular by our favorite local actresses.
Today, we're proud to say that the newest Instagram trend that’s taking the social media app by storm seems to be inspired by Filipinos' fondness for wacky (and bizarre) poses. It's called the sakit sa ulo pose, which is popular worldwide as the “migraine pose.”
According to international website, Elle.com, the “migraine pose” was coined by makeup artist Nam Vo. The trend, as mentioned in the article, is done by “posing with one or two hands pulling your face up by your temples as if you had a, well, migraine."
Vo said: “I love it because the beauty of your hands frame the face and give it more structure. I always make my models pose this way.”
It looks like this IG trend is really a hit with celebrities abroad. Media superstars such as Beyonce, Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Gigi Hadid were even seen doing it recently.
Of course, your favorite local celebrities were quick to jump on the bandwagon with their own sexy snaps. Trust us, you won't need a paracetamol for this!
