This year’s line-up for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017 is quite different from last year. Now, Bossing Vic Sotto, Vice Ganda, and all the other kid-friendly films are back. Some may like it, while others are quite pissed. But while there’s still a debate going on about whether the MMFF is a hit or not with the public, there’s a reason we at FHM HQ are excited about this year’s festival: the talented actresses that will be gracing the silver screen.
1) Erich Gonzales for Siargao
The Kapamilya actress has been on a roll after her highly publicized break-up with actor Daniel Matsunaga. Aside from a ton of new endorsements (including being Tanduay’s calendar girl for 2018), Erich also stars in this wanderlust-fueled film that features one of the country’s most popular tourist spots, Siargao.
2) Pia Wurtzbach for Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad
It’s a dream to see the former Miss Universe in a superhero costume. Now, she’s making our dreams come true as she dons a flashy (and sexy!) superhero costume for her first ever MMFF film.
Coco Martin is sure one lucky guy as he stars alongside these two majestic beauties.
4) Jennylyn Mercado for All of You
Rom-com Queen, former FHM Sexiest Woman, and award-winning actress—there’s really no stopping Jennylyn from being one of the country's biggest stars. Will she win another MMFF Best Actress award this time? We’re rooting for you, Jen!
5) Andrea Torres for Meant To Beh
There’s no shortage of beautiful ladies for this Vic Sotto starrer. There’s Dawn Zulueta, Sue Ramirez, and Gabbi Garcia. But of course, we’re looking forward to seeing our dear cover girl bust out her acting chops.
6) Jane Oineza for Haunted Forest
Jane’s transformation into a malevolent, unknown force is sure to scare the crap out of you!
7) Rachel Alejandro for Ang Larawan
Age is indeed, nothing but a number for this stunner. We can’t wait to see the Sexy Chef as she shows her acting and singing prowess in this adaptation of the Nick Joaquin masterpiece.
