In 2014, a character named Eya graced the silver screen in a movie called Ang Diary Ng Panget. Even if she was disguised in silly makeup that gave her the look apt for the title, she was already a familiar face to many. Turns out, the young woman was a member of the now-defunct all-female group Pop Girls. Her name? Nadine Lustre.
From then on, everyone had their eyes on her. Talented, charming, and with an edgy personality to match her morena beauty, Nadine steadily became famous as more romantic flicks, TV shows, guest stints came her way. Alongside her reel and real life partner, James Reid, Nadine evolved into an unstopabble but still humble force of show business.
But it was in 2015 that the actress’ career truly blossomed (or should we say, soared?). ABS-CBN’s primetime series, On The Wings Of Love, made the country fall in love with this unassuming yet untouchable pairing the public called JaDine, a popular portmanteau of their names that would become their signifier.
Now, it's 2017, and Nadine has added another achievement to her growing list of accolades. Bow down, because you're looking at FHM's Sexiest Woman in the Land.
Some may say that Nadine is unconventionally sexy. But just like what she said on the day we awarded her the title, it’s confidence that makes a woman truly sexy. And honestly, we couldn’t agree more. Think about it, who wouldn’t fall for someone who knows how to carry herself with a strong sense of self? She's the epitome of what a modern, independent woman should be.
And in celebration of this momentous achievement, let’s take a look back at some of the sultriest, most confident Instagram moments of Nadine Lustre.
