Game of Thrones star and fan favorite Hafthor Bjornsson who everyone loves to hate for his role as 'The Mountain' is suffering from a sudden onset of paralysis.
Bjornsson revealed this to his fans on Instagram over the weekend and said he has a condition called Bell's palsy.
According to WebMD, Bell's palsy is a type of paralysis that affects the nerves on one side of the face and usually gets better after a few weeks.
Despite his condition, Bjornsson still went on and joined the 2017 'Europe's Strongest Man' competition which was held in Leeds, England, also over the weekend.
Being The Mountain that he is, Bjornsson proved that he could win even with half of his face paralyzed as he took home the title for the third time in the contest’s history.
Here's the half-man, half-god in action doing some crazy deadlift stunts and other herculean feats:
Congratulations and get well soon, Mountain!
