The official entries for the follow-up year of Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP)—which runs from August 15 to 21 in theaters nationwide—were recently announced.

Ramirez plays tech-dependent teen Norma, a typical teenager who is suddenly diagnosed with Electromagnetic Hyper-Sensitivity, a condition that makes her allergic to Wi-Fi. She moves to her grandmother's province to recover where she discovers that there is life beyond Wi-Fi and that some connections are stronger than those on social media.
Bela Padilla (The Day After Valentine's)
The love team from the box-office hit 100 Tula Para Kay Stella returns to PPP for another tearjerker. Bela is Lani, the "Ms. Repairman" to Kai's (JC Santos) problems in a drama that explores friendships, dependency, and the inevitability of falling in love.
Erich Gonzales (We Will Not Die Tonight)
Erich plays stuntwoman Kray, an aspiring actress, and all around racketeer who can't seem to catch a break—in her career and in life. This action-packed indie reunites Gonzalez with Director Richard Somes who also directed her in Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang and Mariposa
