Tanduay has revealed its calendar girl for 2019 and it’s none other than Bela Padilla.
The 27-year-old actress, screenwriter, and film producer, who is best known for her roles in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Camp Sawi, and 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, was formally introduced as the face of the legendary calendar during its press launch last November 22 at the Movie Stars Café in Eton Centris.
Bela is a fitting choice to join Tanduay’s roster of spirited, multi-faceted Calendar Girls, which includes Erich Gonzalez, Iya Villania, Jennylyn Mercado, and KC Concepcion to name a few.
This year’s Calendar Girl launch is very special because it coincides with Tanduay’s 165th celebration. Bela’s selection is timely as she represents a new kind of Filipina who is unafraid to tell her story, in her own words. She inspires her fans to be just as bold and just as heartfelt in their own journeys.
This characteristic mirrors Tanduay’s mission to support those who are brave enough to challenge conventions and innovate for the future. “We believe that in the coming year, having #TibayNgLoob is more important than ever: #Tibay ng loob to pursue what you love, to stand for what you believe in, to push for positive change,” said Marc Ngo, Brand Manager.
