She would then compete for the title of Binibining Pilipinas three years later, and won the title of Miss Intercontinental Philippines and earned the opportunity to represent the Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2017. In that pageant held in Egypt last January, she would come just a whisker away from making history only to place first runner-up.
Fast forward to this month, Katarina posts a photo of herself on her Instagram, suggesting she now has her sights on Miss World Philippinesn. She would need to compete against 39 other hopefuls though for the four Miss World Philippines titles.
Many expressed their love and support for Katarina, including fellow beauty queens Nelda Ibe (Miss Globe 2017 first runner-up), Karen Gallman (Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2018), Elizabeth Clenci (Miss Grand International 2017 second runner-up), and Sandra Lemonon (Bb. Pilipinas 2018 semi-finalist).
We are convinced that she could win the prestigious pageant because of her elegance and sweet charm. She's also intelligent, finishing two majors, Business Management and Philosophy, in De La Salle University. But don't take our word for it, we'll let her Instagram photos do the talking for us.
