It seems like Yassi Pressman isn't getting enough credit for posing as a hug-seeking third wheel, which made the [Valentine's] day of a lot of heartbroken commuters. If only "Gusto Ko Lamang Sa Buhay" by the Itchyworms was playing in the background, then the whole social experiment would've been perfect:
Yassi is no stranger to falling between the cracks. Despite having stellar acting and dancing chops, the 22-year-old remains to be one of the country's more underrated celebrities. After being in the industry for more than a decade, one could say that becoming Coco Martin's wife on FPJ's Ang Probinsyano was her biggest break.
And on the heels of her on-screen split with Cardo Dalisay, Yassi has taken the lead role and—ironically—become the titular character in the upcoming romantic comedy Ang Pambansang Third Wheel. This time, she is paired with Sam Milby (Camp Sawi co-star), who plays a single dad to Sam Pinto's kid. Even on film, the universe conspires against her.
Give this woman her due. In our eyes, Yassi doesn't deserve to be a third wheel.
Ang Pambansang Third Wheel, directed by Ivan Payawal, has yet to announce a release date
