Like everyone who has already seen Avengers: Infinity War, the actors who played Earth's mightiest heroes have not yet moved on from its grim ending.
Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) got matching tattoos—a modified version of the Avengers logo—that Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Chris Evans initially had inked on their bodies in New York. Standing in for Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), who wasn't present at the impromptu reunion, was the tattoo artist Joshua Lord.
Downey was gracious enough to document the painful yet heartwarming occassion. He told Entertainment Weekly, "Each one of us drew a line on the artist with his own tattoo gun and it was a total massacre."
Renner doesn't seem to mind being completely left out from Infinity War, even describing the superhero team as "bonded for life." At least we know Cap has something in mind for Ruffalo to join in on the fun.
Of course, the internet couldn't contain itself upon hearing about the great news. It wouldn't be suprising if fans started getting inked themselves. Please think twice before actually doing it. There's a big difference between being an Avengers fanboy and an actual Avenger after all.
