What did you do while you were away?
Well, while I was in Canada, I opened a business, which I’m still running with my partners 24/7, even while I’m here. So tuloy pa rin yun.
During your absence, people were still talking about you. Especially about your classic Palmolive commercial and your impact on Filipino cinema. Obviously, you were missed.
You know, I’m just so surprised and very happy that even though out of sight ako, I’m not out of mind. Sana mapanindigan ko! Ha ha ha!
Your new show, Babaeng Hampaslupa, is the reason you’re back. What can we expect from it?
It was an opportunity to come back, to do a big teleserye. Babaeng Hampaslupa is not really a revival of the movie, yung title lang ang same. This is an all-new program. Abangan ninyo kasi maraming magagaling na artista roon. Modesty aside, I’m glad to be a part of this really big and great series.
We recently did a feature on the country’s sexiest stars pre-FHM and you were part of the list. Are you willing to finally debut on FHM soon?
I was? Wow! First, I can’t believe I’m even on the list! I’m very overwhelmed by it. So overwhelmed in fact that I forgot your question. Ha ha ha!
We’re sure you’ve heard that Dina Bonnevie posed for our magazine twice in the past. Would you be open to the idea?
(Laughs) I’d have to cross the bridge when I get there. I’m not saying no naman but if my husband would take the photos, maybe. He’s a photographer kasi.
