What If #DuRiam Re-Made Our Favorite Romantic Movies?

Would you re-watch these romance flicks if they starred Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago and Mayor Rodrigo Duterte?

Last night's PiliPinas Debates 2016 gave the local electorate a chance to better judge all the presidential candidates and their platforms.

However, aside from the (supposedly) intellectual arguments and intelligent rebuttals, one highlight of the event was the mutual respect and admiration Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago showed for each other.

Those who watched were quick to notice the chemistry the two had. And because, well, we're a country of people with overactive imaginations and suckers for a good love story, #DuRiam was born.

The two, it seems, sure look like the political love team to beat, boasting an endearing appeal that might rival JaDine and AlDub. One only has to re-watch the debate and listen to the cheers their many interactions generated to be convinced.

We mean, wouldn't you re-watch these movies if #Duriam had the starring roles?
