After its much-panned first installment, the Fifty Shades trilogy was expected to redeem itself with the follow-up to Fifty Shades of Grey.
Enter the official trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, which was released by Universal Pictures recently. In the 118-second teaser, the sequel didn't look like another glorification of BDSM, but rather a twisted action thriller (thanks to Miguel's somber version of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love").
At first, it seemed that the creators were putting premium on the romantic dynamic between Christian Grey (Jaime Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).
Until everyone wore their masquerade ball masks and that creepy woman started showing up.
Fifty Shades Darker hits theatres February 2017.
