Fans of the Masamune Shirow manga were understandably ecstatic over news of a live-action Ghost in the Shell film.
After watching the movie's latest set of teasers though, director Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) seemed to have made the right call in choosing the talented and tantalizing thespian.
And speaking of doing a fine job, it looks like Sanders and his team also did well in the aesthetic department, particularly in tackling The Major's habitual show of skin in the animated classic.

Ghost in the Shell hits theaters March 31, 2017.
