Now, it looks like they could use his "calming presence" as trouble seems to be brewing on the fast track.
There has been reports of on-set animosity between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (who plays no-nonsense Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs) and some of his male co-stars after the former posted this on Instagram a couple of days ago:
And some are saying that the person The Rock is beefing with is none other than actor-producer Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto).
Dwayne called out some of the cast members for being unprofessional, adding that they were "too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway."
We then heard through the grapevine that he wasn't too keen with some of the decisions Vin was making during production, and that the two even had a "secret meeting" to resolve the conflict that was negatively affecting the film's last shooting days.
Meanwhile, a report by Mirror Online quoted an insider saying that The Rock's co-stars are none too pleased with the way he's handling the situation. "This is a hell of a way to end it," it said.
Another source claimed it was "extreme egos" that was causing problems on the set.
Earlier today, Dwayne posted another video on Instagram, in which he was chanting with the stunt team. Noticeably, someone's missing from the picture...
The caption, though, says otherwise. Is this a good sign?
