Cinephiles have a reason to rejoice once as the 12 annual Cinemanila International Film Festival returns with a fresh line-up. The festival will run from December 1 to 5 at the Robinsons Galleria Movieworld.
For 12 years now Cinemanila has been feeding the art-house for the movie-devouring public, but this year’s showcase of indie and mainstream flicks boasts of Asian film pride. Apart from screenings, the festival will also feature workshops, seminars and master classes.
Opening the festival is the Taiwanese film Pinoy Sunday starring funnymen Bayani Agbayani and Epy Quizon. Closing this year is Amigo, directed by John Sayles and stars veteran actor Joel Torre.
