(SPOILERS AHEAD! Look away now if you haven't seen the movie yet.)

With the entire Internet proclaiming the return to greatness of the storied Star Wars franchise, you probably don't need us to tell you that The Force Awakens is pretty freaking incredible.

It handily beats most every sci-fi spectacular or space-based flick in recent memory, and is truly a return to form for a series that nearly killed itself in the Jar Jar Binks era. And whether or not you can differentiate a wookie from an ewok, the film is a terrific intergalactic adventure that features many of the familiar faces that longtime fans will be looking for, and a handful of promising new characters that we look forward to seeing again in future installments.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves now. At the moment, you'll be labeled a Dark Side Sympathizer if you happen to drop the slightest hint of a spoiler on social media. While the movie has had a cracking start at the box office, it's still only been a few days since opening day. Not everyone has seen it.

But for those who have? Well, it's time to start the discussion on all the Force-inspired #feels we felt for the movie. These are our favorite moments from Episode VII, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

1) That iconic opening sequence.

It wasn't until the words "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." flashed on screen that we felt the gravity of the moment.

We are actually watching THE NEW STAR WARS MOVIE. Ten years after Revenge Of The Sith, we are actually in the cinema listening to the glorious Star Wars theme blast through the speakers while its trademark opening text crawl tells us all about galactic empires, ace space pilots, the rise of a supremely evil faction, a princess-turned-general, and a certain missing Jedi.

2) Kylo Ren kills his dad!

Han Solo is dead. His son, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) a.k.a The Jedi Formerly Known as Ben Solo, poked him with his bright, red beam sword. We hate you Kylo Ren. We hate your fake "I'm crossing over to the light side back, daddy" cry-face. You'll never be as strong as your Lolo Darth Vader. In fact, why don't you just leave Star Wars alone and return to that Lena Dunham show...ADAM.

3) Return Of The Luke Skywalker!

Fun fact: Mark Hamill now holds the record for Fastest Career Revival ever. The series' most important hero only appears for a few seconds at the end, but what a few seconds that was.

At movie's end, new series heroine Rey finally locates the Jedi-in-hiding, and the two engage in a powerful, wordless exchange. It was a moving scene that rendered the cinema as silent as the two characters were and a testament to the lasting appeal of one Luke Skywalker.

4) And C3PO! And R2D2!

And Chewie, and Princess Leia, too!

We geeked out every time the movie reintroduced one of these series favorites. C3PO is still polite. We can still strangely understand Chewie's groaning and R2-D2's beeps and whistles. And Princess Leia, well, she still loves that Solo guy, doesn't she?

5) Kiss already, Han and Leia (Or maybe, don't.)

Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher rekindle their on-screen romance in one tender scene just before Han leaves for the movie's final mission. She confesses she's never liked seeing Han off. Han retorts, "That's why I did it. So you'd miss me." #Feels

Little did she know that it would be the last time she'd say goodbye to him.

6) Did the Millennium Falcon really just do a backflip?! (It did!)

Take that, TIE fighters. Han and Chewie's signature ship returns and remains as pivotal to this space-faring adventure as ever.

7) Kylo Ren practically force-choked a laser beam!

We've seen Jedis deflect laser beams with their lightsaber. What we don't see often are Force practitioners freezing beams in mid-air. Ren does the trick early in the movie in what would be his most menacing scene.

8) Rey, The Newest Hope, wallops Kylo Ren in a Jedi Mind Battle.

"You're afraid you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader."

Take that, daddy killer!

9) Rey's incredible flashback scene!

At Planet Takodana, Han, Rey, reformed Stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega), and the adorable BB-8 seek the help of the old pirate Maz Kanata in locating the Resistance. Rey wanders off into a room where Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber lies in storage. She touches the weapon, which kicks off a whirling flashback sequence featuring the days before Vader became Vader. The scene clued us in on Rey's latent Force powers, which is something she doesn't readily embrace at the start.

10)The Starkiller Base explodes!

Meet the Starkiller Base. It's like the Death Star...but BIGGER!

You know what they say: The bigger these massive superweapons come, the bigger the explosions are when they're eventually destroyed by X-Wings (we missed seeing these space-jets!). It's déjà vu for the bad guys as their solar-powered weapon of mass destruction get blown to bits again.

We could almost hear Vader shake his fist in hell, screaming "Damn you, rebel scuuuum!"

11) Speaking of big things, Supreme Leader is huuuuuge.

Or was that merely a hologram? We Googled, "Is Supreme Leader Snoke really that big?"

The answer: No one really knows for sure yet. The Internet had an idea that he was going to be big, but not THAT big. No one has been able to confirm yet whether the projected image in the move is his real size or not.

12) That Stormtrooper that Rey pulled a mind trick on? That's Daniel Craig!

James Bond makes a cameo as that Stormtrooper who lets Rey loose, walks away, and drops his weapon.

13) Every scene BB-8 was in.

What can we say? The little guy's a charmer.

In fact, we now want nothing more for Christmas than our own BB-8!
