Coming off the success of the Kita Kita, one of today's most unlikely yet sought-after leading men has another big-screen project in the works.
Empoy, who hit it off with Alessandra de Rossi over the summer, will star in the new romantic comedy The Barker (Don't Know What To Do), this time alongside actress Shy Carlos. The Dennis Padilla-helmed movie seems to carry that usual rich-girl-poor-guy plot, and it's up to the actor-director comedian pairing to keep the ball rolling.
A couple of references to the #AlEmpoy summer blockbuster have also been made—Sapporo (Zapote's pronunciation) and noodle-slurping—so this better be good.
