Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is about to hit theatres this month and we’re ready to go on another wild ride with Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Blue.

The promos for the film are already in full swing.

But while we’ve come to expect bigger, badder dinosaurs with every version in the franchise, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is bringing back the original heartthrob of the series—the Grandmaster himself, Dr. Ian Malcolm.

Jeff Goldblum is the third alum from the original to reprise his role in the sequels (Sam Neill and Laura Dern made appearances in Jurassic Park 3), this time looking much more mature sporting a full beard. It’s been 25 years since the release of the original, so let’s take a look at how time has treated the first group that ventured into Isla Nublar.

Sam Neill

The Kiwi actor is looking good for a septuagenarian. He currently owns and runs Two Paddocks, a family vineyard in his home country of New Zealand.

Jeff Goldblum

The incredible Jeff Goldblum is experiencing a renaissance in his career thanks largely to his portrayal of The Grandmaster in Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok—a role he is expected to return to.

Laura Dern

The Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning actress and activist hasn't aged at all. She recently starred in the HBO drama about sexual abuse, The Tale.

Samuel Jackson

Since playing Ray Arnold in Jurassic Park, Samuel Jackson has gone on to play Mace Windu, Nick Fury, Valentine, Mr. Glass, Jules Winnfield, and tons of other iconic roles. Not a bad run for Mr. Jackson.

Ariana Richards

Apart from her acting career, Ariana graduated with a degree in Fine Art and Drama and is now a fine art painter and mother.

Joseph Mazzello

Joseph continued in the business and added director and screenwriter to his credentials. He appeared in The Social Network and in the HBO series The Pacific. His most recent gig will be as Queen bassist John Deacon in Bohemian Rhapsody.
