The upcoming live-action comic book adaptation, directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland), tells the story of journalist Eddie Brock (played by Hardy) and how he becomes the host of an alien symbiote that grants him enhanced abilities. Based on the fictional character of the same name, Venom is said to be the first movie in Sony's own Marvel Universe.

Shortly after, the almost three-minute video was uploaded on YouTube—already 468 thousand views in an hour—and everyone has something to say about it.
