Do you like electronic music?
Chances are if you're, erm, young, wild, and free (and possess a great deal of disposable income/allowance) you frequent clubs and festivals where electronic music is king. And for good reason: It's good music to dance to. There's a reason why the world's biggest DJs have become just as huge as the world's biggest bands.
Like we once did with bands and their blaring guitars, don't you sometimes wish you could be the one on the decks spinning for a huuuuge crowd? Haven't you ever dreamt of being that dude with the headphones tucked in between his chin and his shoulder waiting for the right time to initiate *the drop*? If you have, you might want to check out the 2015 Electronic MusiCon, happening from June 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center Taguig inside SM Aura.
Essentially, it's like the toy-cons, the comic-cons, and the gaming-cons of the world, but instead of action figures, comic books, and videogames, it has turntables, vinyl records, and a really serious bath of audio equipment. It's a gathering not just of DJs but nightlife professionals as well such as music producers, club owners, and party promoters.
Now, one of the main attractions of this annual event, which is now on its fourth year, is its workshops and lectures.
