Filipino music legend Joey Ayala is set to headline an all-star show on September 16 at the Music Museum.
Dubbed Mandiriwa, the concert marks a comeback for the acclaimed singer-songwriter—it was at the Music Museum where, exactly 25 years ago, he simultaneously launched his three groundbreaking records “Panganay Ng Umaga,” “Magkabilaan,” and “Mga Awit ng Tanod-lupa.”
The award-winning artist will be performing timeless classics and new songs that mirror the struggles of ordinary Filipino people. No less than Gloc-9, Bayang Barrios, Dong Abay, Bullet Dumas, Juan Miguel Severo, and Ang Bagong Lumad band will be joining the folk icon for this once-in-a- lifetime event.
Joey Ayala will also be conducting short workshops in between sets to engage the audience and help them understand their inner selves.
