Oklahoma City Thunder's Victor Oladipo is known for being Russell Westbrook's Robin and his ridiculous rim-rattlers.

During the recently concluded All-Star Weekend, though, the second overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft showed out in a rather unexpected event—and it's not even the dunk contest.

Oladipo took part in the NBA Talent Challenge and killed the competition with a suprisingly impressive rendition of R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly." Listening to him, well, made us think just that:


For someone who made his mark in basketball, those vocal chops ain't half bad. The folks at Inside The NBA might not have found Oladipo's singing amusing, but an earlier video we dug up from YouTube may leave a better impression on them:

Save for the subpar opening note, Oladipo was no doubt the superior performer—stage presence and all—in the duet. He steadily owned the song and didn't force anything, like this dude:
