And just like that, 20 years na ang Parokya!

Can you believe it's been that long since they introduced us to "Buloy" in 1993? We can still remember those nights we spent learning the chords to "Harana." We were so sure it could earn us instant pogi points with the ladies. And then, when we eventually struck out (which, sadly, happened a bunch of times), we followed the "undying message" of another Parokya staple to ease away the pain: "Inuman Na."

In 20 years, Parokya ni Edgar has recorded 10 successful albums, bagged countless awards, rocked hundreds of stages, and enjoyed a massive local following. Despite the ever-changing local music scene, the band always found a way to stay relevant.

To celebrate their longevity, PnE released a new album called Bente: Alien Four'se–a two-CD and DVD collection of their greatest hits. Their latest single, a collaboration with Gloc-9 and Frank Magalona called “Ang Parokya,” sounds awesome. Watch the official video below:

What it reminds you of most about your youth: The girl(s) you courted and made telebabad with for weeks just to make her say yes. Eventually she did, though she called the relationship off after a mere three days because you really suck at Counterstrike. Oh yeah, that still hurts.
