We Don't Know How To Feel About A Coldplay And Chainsmokers Collab

Do you really want 'Something Just Like This'?

While everybody was sleeping The Chainsmokers and Coldplay dropped their new track titled, "Something Just Like This."

As much as we like a few of British rock group's cuts, a collaboration with the American EDM duo might not be a good idea.

Chris Martin may have salvaged the rather shallow chorus part with his vocal range, only to be by drowned by The Chainsmokers' campy and predictable pseudo-pop mix. (Why do electronic dance music have to ruin everything?)

Coldplay fans are used to their favorite band incorporating foreign elements in their music ("Viva La Vida," Mylo Xyloto), but this is one experiment they can afford to pass up.

Let's just hope this won't be something just like "Closer," which has been an unwanted playlist staple in social establishments.
