Looks like of all people, one band has heard the call and contributed to the cause in their own little way—through a music video.
True Faith recently launched the MV for their latest single, "Paano Ka Magiging Akin," and its safe to say their concept isn't your typical on-screen ballad retelling.
"We wanted a video that does not have the usual stuff that accompanies a romantic ballad," vocalist Medwin Marfil or Meds explained in a press release. "We wanted it to be different and a little bit thought-provoking."
What the band and director Genghis Jimenez came up with was an homage to classic horror and suspense films.
The video featured references from a few Stanley Kubrick classics (Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange) and the original The Wicker Man (1973). Even Meds' character, "The Evil Butler," was said to have been inspired by Tim Burton films.
Although, in our opinion, it may have gotten too out of the box and might make you scratch your heads (but ingenious just the same).
