Just this week, news broke out on Aaron Carter’s arrest. The late ‘90s singer, best known for hits like “Crush on You” and “I’m All About You,” was arrested over DUI and marijuana charges.
Aaron has already denied the DUI charges, saying there was a problem with the alignment of his car which caused others to report him for swerving.
He also engaged his older brother, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, on Twitter shortly after in what appeared to be a bit of bickering between the siblings on the issue.
But it’s not just the younger Carter who got in trouble in the past years. Here are other famous music icons from the previous decade who also had their fair share of brushes with the law.
It’s more about cult charges and less of believing he could fly this time around for the R&B singer after he was recently accused of holding different women in a cultish environment where he allegedly controls them to satisfy his sexual pleasures. Kelly has since denied the allegations.
It seems like Aaron didn’t get some pointers from his big brother. Back in January 2016, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was apprehended by authorities in Florida in a bar brawl. He was charged with battery following the incident.
Artis Leon Ivey, Jr. was definitely living the gangster life after he was arrested by authorities who found a stolen gun inside his carry-on bag at the Los Angeles International Airport in September 2016.
Back in 2015, Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. was seized in Sweden on suspicion of illegal drug use after performing at a concert. Snoop was so mad that he vowed never to return to that country.
