The Orlando Magic's Aaron Gordon has been putting on work lately.
After seeing his rookie campaign cut short by an injury, the sophomore dominated the NBA Summer League and preseason games, manhandling the opposition with his Blake Griffin-esque athleticism and highlight reel plays.
Today, Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal got a taste of some "Gordon Muscle" after the second-year Magic forward came flying in for a monster putback jam late in the first quarter. It immediately got the Magic fans up on their feet and us questioning the ring's durability.
Aaron Gordon Posterizes Bradley Beal with a Monster Putback Dunk
Get out of the way, Bradley Beal!Posted by Bleacher Report on Wednesday, 28 October 2015
That wasn't Gordon's only highlight play in the game though. Within two minutes after he first entered the game, the Orlando big man collected a miss from teammate Victor Oladipo, and promptly victimized Wizards center Marcin Gortat with an authoritative putback dunk.
Man, things are really getting sunny in Orlando.
The Wizards had the last laugh though, as they narrowly escaped the Magic for an 88-87 win thanks to a clutch John Wall basket with only 12 seconds left in the game. Despite being posterized, Beal led all scorers with 24 points, while Gordon finished with 12 points and seven rebounds in only 17 minutes of play.
