The 2016 NBA Finals has been over for nearly a month. But the days after that seven-game classic haven't been uninteresting as far as we're concerned. There have been blockbuster free agent moves. The draft was a big thing, too. The retirement of Tim Duncan also gave us a lot to talk about.
But here's a guy who's adding fuel to an already fiery offseason: Andre Iguodala. The Finals runner-up has been talking, and he hasn't exactly been magnanimous toward their championship tormentors.
While guesting at New York-based radio show The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1, Iggy said that the Oklahoma City Thunder should've been the real champs of the just concluded season because they were better than both the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. Instead of acknowledging the Cavs' triumph, he gave credit to the Thunder's impressive but ultimately fruitless run in the Playoffs.
