Name a better post-game show than Inside the NBA—we'll wait.
Collectively, host Ernie Johnson, and analysts Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Shaquille O'Neal might not be the most iconic quartet on TV, but rewatching the priceless banter between them on TNT's official YouTube channel is enough get us through the plodding offseason. Seriously though, when will all the basketball start?
If you've yet to discover Shaq, Ernie, Kenny, Charles, and their brand of humor, FHM suggests that you start your Inside binge with these gems:
Rockets-Clippers locker room drama
When Chris Paul and co. reportedly stormed his former home quarters, LA's supposed need for "police presence" had Shaq and Chuck dying. Kenny said it best: "(These two) would relish for a guy to come in the locker room after them."
Kevin Hart stops by the Inside set
The Inside crew has had countless players and celebrities as guests, but none more hilarious than the comedian of short stature. When Hart started roasting each member of the panel, especially Barkley, they couldn't do anything but laugh at themselves.
Chuck's bracelet story
This clip perfectly shows how important Chuck and his unpredictability are to the program. Just like when he was still playing and doing post-game interviews, the guy just simply has no filter. With him, you never know what you're going to get.
Audio Toon - Chuck's Phoenix nacho story
But Barkley is at his best when he goes off on those all-too familiar rants and dishes out the cold, hard truth. When they revisited his infamous tirade about his ex-team the Suns, the only funnier bit was his animated version.
Chuck's getting a statue
Even when an analyst gets recognized, the folks at Inside always find a way to get a good laugh out of it. News came out of Chuck's statue at Auburn, and what does Chuck get? A comically inaccurate artist's rendition and Shaq asking him if it was his first.
Chuck's mind is blown
In most instances, Barkley brings the gag upon himself by being gullible and the ultimate sport. He should know better than change a diaper, kiss an ass (donkey), fall asleep, and read a teleprompter on live TV. Every prank on him was too easy.
Chuck learns Spanish
Never change, Chuck. Never change.
