Have you heard of Gallery Vask?
Serving modern Spanish cuisine with a Filipino twist, Gallery Vask is the only local food joint to be recognized as one of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants for 2016, coming in at 39th. It is headed by Chef Jose Luis "Chele" González who hails from Torrelavega, Spain.
We immediately checked the reviews at Trip Advisor to see what people have to say about the Taguig-based restaurant.
But they're not just a great resto, apparently. Gallery Vask also has an interior that would make your Instagram-loving friends giddy!
If you plan to visit the restaurant soon, here are some dishes you should try out:
Gallery Vask was particularly praised for this dish during the awarding ceremony. Inspired by kinilaw, a local dish made with raw fish cured in vinegar, Tiradito boasts tasty, silky slices of tuna loin blanketed by a mixture of coconut milk, calamansi, and tabon-tabon (a common souring ingredient in the city of Iligan).
Or lechon de leche, it's caramelized with onion, sautéed foie gras, and stewed potatoes served with a side of green salad. It's a richly seasoned dish; there's no need for Mang Tomas for this one!
This aromatic dish is composed of calamansi, marinated anchovies, beetroot, olive marmalade and bread crumbs. Prepare your taste buds for a subtle-tasting feast.
4) Beer Urchin
This one-of-a-kind beverage comes with a fresh, sweet flavor, thanks to a combination of sea urchins, beer clams, foie gras, and oranges.
5) Palm Crisp
...or simply call it coconut sorbet. Its crispy outside but super creamy inside and is shaped into a marshmallow, resting on a pair of mini-branches.
Gallery Vask is located at 5th Floor, Clipp Center, 11th Avenue corner 39th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. For prices and other information, call (632) 217-6563 or visit their website.
