From 2000 to 2006, a 5' 5 ½” power-punching slugger named Vic Darchinyan terrorized boxing’s flyweight division. The man known as "Raging Bull" was such an absolute beast throughout those years that almost everybody in his weight class was scared shitless of him.

But on July 8, 2007, the flyweight tyrant—whose record stood at 28 wins: 22 by KO, with no defeats—took on a virtually-unknown young challenger who was more than ready to stand up to the bully. That supposed nobody, was none other than our kababayan, Nonito Donaire Jr.

Junjun knew that the bout against the Armenian fighter was his audition for the "big leagues" and boy did he kill it. He outclassed the heavily favored champion in the first four rounds of the fight and eventually finished the job in the fifth stanza, with one of the most beautiful left hooks we’ve seen in recent memory. But talk is cheap. Such a beautiful punch is meant to be watched:
