It's that time of the year again, FHM Nation!
Game 1 of the UAAP Season 77 Finals series between the NU Bulldogs and the FEU Tamaraws will take place this Saturday, October 4, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, and while it's somewhat odd to see Ateneo and La Salle chillin' this early, this is certainly one of the most refreshing scenarios to happen to collegiate sports as of late.

The thing though is these kids are far from being household names like Keifer Ravena and Jeric Teng, and casual fans may need to brush up on their Bulldog and Tamaraw knowledge to fully enjoy the upcoming games. So which NU and FEU players should you take note of? Read on to find out!
Far Eastern University Tamaraws
MIKE TOLOMIA , SG
Season stats: 15.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists
Player efficiency rating: 20.1
The most casual collegiate basketball fan might know who Tolomia is. But if you're tuning in just now, he's the guy who took over FEU's scoring load after the departure of Terrence Romeo and RR Garcia.

Tolomia has a couple of go-to moves, including the Euro-step and the reverse lay-up. Times like these, it doesn't hurt to emulate a player like Manu Ginobili.

Mac Belo (more on him later) may be the one who sunk that crucial three-pointer to oust the DLSU Green Archers in the Final Four, but Tolomia is just as capable of making buzzer beaters. No wonder defenders were sticking onto him in that final possession!
We just wish he makes them more often, you know? Tolomia also has a tendency to disappear late in games, especially on the charity stripe. If the game turns out to be a nail-biter, the Bulldogs would be wise to send him to the free-throw line.
MAC BELO, PF
Season stats: 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists
Player efficiency rating: 32.1
As already mentioned, Belo is the guy who nailed the coffin on La Salle's dream of repeating as champs, courtesy of a last-second basket from long distance. "Sobrang blessed. Yung last shot na yun, dine-dedicate ko kay Lord talaga," he said after the game.
