FHM sat cageside at PXC 37 last weekend!

Held at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig last Saturday, May 18, this fight card saw a popular champion finally dethroned, a young Japanese prodigy saving his undefeated streak, and a female boxer announcing her intentions to make the jump to mixed martial arts, among others.

Scroll down below and check out what happened!

Ernesto Montilla earned his second career victory by knocking out Team Lakay's Jerome Wanawan in the second round, though the fight could have easily gone the other way around. Moments prior to getting the boot, Wanawan wobbled his opponent with a series of strikes, but Montilla caught him with a counter right hand, sending Wanawan all the way to the kangkungan. Big things ahead for this Montilla kid, we assume.

Reno Remigio
earned a TKO victory over Korean prospect Hong Seung Chan by raining down a flurry of knees and elbows from the clinch position in all three rounds. The Hawaiian proudly showed off the sun and star tattoo on his left shoulder after the bout, indicating his Pinoy side.

All hail Big John McCarthy! PXC 37 marked the third time the iconic referee officiated a fight here in the PH, but Pinoy fight fans were still awestruck in his presence. Just look at his game face, y'all. Big John officiated the co-main event bout between Jang Yong Kim and Nate Thorell, among others.
