Good news, FHM Nation: We now know the Gilas Pilipinas players who will represent the Philippines at the FIBA World Cup later this month! reports that Paul Lee and Andray Blatche have been chosen to play in Spain, joining Gilas holdovers Jayson Castro, LA Tenorio, Jeff Chan, Gabe Norwood, Ranidel de Ocampo, Marc Pingris, Japeth Aguilar, Gary David, Junmar Fajardo, and Jimmy Alapag. A fine choice, Coach Chot Reyes!

In the process, however, the team had to cut hopefuls Beau Belga, Jay Washington, and long-time Gilas naturalized player Marcus Douthit. Jared Dillinger, who's set to replace Alapag at the Asian Games this September, also failed to make the cut, while Larry Fonacier, who begged off due to injuries, is officially out of the conversation. Aaawww.

All the same, we would like to give these five guys a tribute for all their hard work and sacrifice. To Douthit, Belga, Washington, Dillinger, and Fonacier: This one's for you!

Thank you, Larry, for the unselfishness you've shown throughout this whole ordeal. It's very rare for pro athletes to admit to their injuries, but you did anyway, even if it meant having to give up your spot in favor of someone else.

And since we're on the subject, thank you for the roster spot that ultimately went to Paul Lee. We're sure he'll fit in just fine.

Thank you, Marcus, for taking us to Spain. We commend you even more for sticking around even though everybody knew from the start that Andray Blatche would take your spot.

After all is said and done, Filipinos will remember you as the foreigner who helped us get to our first FIBA World Cup in four decades. Nobody can take that away from you, not even Blatche.
