The road may have been tougher this time around, but that only makes the Golden State Warriors' third championship in four years more fulfilling.

The Dubs swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Finals, asserting their dominance with a 105-85 blowout victory on the road. The same thing cannot be said about the rest of Golden State's season, where the team was plagued with injuries, inconsistency, and other issues. The top-seeded Houston Rockets even almost unseated the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, if not for a few lucky breaks.

When all is said and done, though, Steve Kerr's wards pulled it together and did just enough to raise his ring total to eight as both player and coach. Kevin Durant capped of his magnificent Finals run with a triple-double (20 pts 12 reb 10 ast 3 blk), en route to becoming Finals Most Valuable Player in back-to-back years. Two-time MVP Stephen Curry rediscovered his shooting touch (37 pts 7 3pm 3 stl 3 blk) to close out LeBron James (23 pts 8 ast 7 reb) and the Cavs.
